Success Story – Sept – Mr. Barnes
Mr. Barnes came to Mira Vista after a fall at home resulting in multiple fracture in his arms, leg and ribs leaving him with restrictions on weight bearing status.
At admission, Mr. Barnes required maximum assistance with activities of daily living, bed mobility and required a mechanical lift for transfers.
With hard work, determination, and a custom therapy plan. Mr. Barnes can transfer with limited assistance from caregivers, performing activities of daily living with set up assistance, and is able to walk short distances in parallel bars.
Mr. Barnes is preparing to discharge home with his spouse.
